Matthew 28:19

Therefore go and make disciples of alll nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

The word translated NATIONS in the above passage is the Greek words ETHNOS. This can be translated; people groups, such as communities, cultures and sub cultures, with things in common. At Believe church we believe that we are called to lovingly engage communities and cultures with the love of Christ. We believe that Christians should be the visible expression of the invisible Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14-17; Colossians 1:27) wherever they are. The old saying is true, we may be the only Bible that some people get to read!

We believe that by encountering Christ's love people can be transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit and be restored to God's original purpose for humankind. That purpose is aimed at bringing us into an intimate loving relationship with Daddy God.

It is only when we are restored, through the redemptive work of Christ, to the place of intimacy with God the Father, that we can truly discover for ourselves who we are and why we are here!

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10).
